We have compiled a list of questions that are frequently asked about LinguaDict.

1. Which devices can LinguaDict be used with?

LinguaDict can be used on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch from iOS 4.2 onwards.

2. The keyboard display covers the menu

The keyboard display can be hidden by sliding your finger across the relevant area of the screen.
On the iPad, you can also tap the Close Keyboard button on the bottom right of the keyboard in order to hide the keyboard.

3. Can I download the LinguaDict app for free again after I have purchased it?

Yes, once you have purchased the LinguaDict app once, you can load it again for free at any time through your account in the AppStore.

4. How can I update the LinguaDict app?

Updates are new versions of the app, which you can load to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via the AppStore or to your PC via the iTunes Store.
Every time you access the AppStore, it will search for updates to the apps that you have downloaded. Select the "Updates" menu in the AppStore. Then select the app to receive further information about the update. Select "Update".

5. What could be the reason that the Joke function is not available?

6. Why don't I hear a tone when tapping the loudspeaker symbol next to the dictionary entry?

Check that the volume of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is not set to mute.

7. How can I delete the LinguaDict app from my device?

Tap and hold the LinguaDict app symbol on your screen until the symbols start to move slightly. Then tap the cross (X) in the corner of the LinguaDict app.
Tap "Delete".
If you delete an app, its data are no longer accessible via the user interface of the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
