to commencing your journey that you have launched the Listen2Mail application and that the automatic reading option has been activated.
Check the volume settings of your mobile device and keep the car charger for your iPhone or iPad at hand during long car journeys. Reading will start automatically when a new email is received.
Listen2Mail is a universal app and can be used on the iPhone and iPad from iOS 4.2.
Yes. To do so, set up the audio device according to the manufacturer's instructions on your mobile device. For use with Bluetooth headsets, the Bluetooth option must be activated in the „Settings“ on your iPhone or iPad under „General“ „Bluetooth“.
Listen2Mail includes 21 languages and 32 voices (20 female and 12 male speakers): Danish, German, English (UK + US), Finnish, French (France + Canada), Greek, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil + Portugal), Russian, Swedish, Spanish (Spain + Mexico), Czech, Turkish and Hungarian.
Listen2Mail uses 1.3 MB memory.
Additional memory will be required if you would like to archive the audio files of your read emails. Therefore, you can specify the maximum memory size for this purpose in the settings.
You can choose any value between 10 MB and 1 GB.
The application supports email providers who support the IMAP protocol.
For the email providers MobileMe, GoogleMail, Yahoo!, AOL and T-Online the standard email server connections (server name and port) are already entered.
Simply enter your email address and corresponding password.
Should you have a different provider, select „Other“ from the list. In the „Incoming email“
field on the following screen, enter the Server name and Port of your provider for accessing emails via IMAP. If you don’t know your provider’s server name and port, please contact your provider directly.
You can also search your provider’s online support pages for “IMAP”, “Port” and “Incoming email server” to find these details.
Confirm your entries by tapping the „Save“ button at the top right.
(Hint: The incoming email server’s default port for IMAP is 993. If you are unable to establish a connection with this port, switch to port 143.)

If you receive this message, please go the settings in your email account to check if your account details (email address and email password) have been entered correctly.
The server name for email access via IMAP must be entered into the „Incoming email server“ field – contact your provider for this information if necessary.
Otherwise, you can also search your provider’s online support pages for “IMAP” and
“Incoming email server” to find these details.
